My very first wedding cake..

 

Het was mij gevraagd door het prachtige bruidspaar Vincent en Debbie De Vlugt om hun bruidstaat te maken. Ik vond het heel spannend maar Debbie had alle vertrouwen in mij. Ook hier wil ik jullie nogmaals bedanken voor jullie vertrouwen in mij. En bedankt voor de complimenten.Xxx

I was asked by the beautiful bride and groom Vincent and Debbie De Vlugt to make there wedding cake, i was very excited. Debbie had a lot of faith in me to do this for them. I want to thank you guys for your faith in me. And for all the compliments Xxx.

50th Anniversary cake

This cake was for a lovely couple who are married for 50 years. How amazing is that.

And because they are still so much in love with eachother Red roses and 2 little hearts had to be on there.

My first attempt in making a double barrel cake and a large rose, i had so much fun.

Bottom tear chocolate butter cake filled with vanilla swiss merinque butter cream. On that tear a vanilla cake with chocolate SMBC and the top tear was another chocolate butter cake with vanilla SMBC.

A ballerina cake for a lovely 10 year old girl called Roos.

This is my last cake for this year….

I was asked to make a small cake for a weddingdress celebration day.

Loved making this, skirt redvelvet cake with cream  chreese frosting.

I just got these pictures from a friend of mine, i made this cake for her daughter.

She is a fan of LOUBOUTIN so her wish was…..

The box is the cake, vanilla cake filled with chocolate swiss merigue buttercream and the shoe is made out of sugarpaste my very first shoe i loved making it and learned A LOT.

I did not have the time to make pictures but i am glad my friend did.

The Dutch-donut, it`s a Dutch tradition to eat this at New year`s eve and on New Years day. They are made out of fried batter and the black bits are currents. And for the sweet note we put powdered sugar on them YUMMIE.

But don`t be fooled by these once, these are made out of Red velvet cake to look like Dutch-donut`s.

This is the real one i found on the internet, well i did my best hahahah.

Christmas cake anyone…

 

Cake number one… chocolate fudge cake filled with chocolate swiss meringue buttercream.

Cake number two, red velvet cake filled with cream cheese vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.

 

It all started with this little guy..

This little  guy is made out of orange chocolate truffle cake yum yum… all edible.  After i made about 6 of these little guys i had to give them away and that was hard ;-).

Creapy caky….halloween has come early

I got a new cake book from Debbie Brown, and this cake was in it….. i fell in lOVE.

I wanted to make this cake but for who…There is no such thing as coinsidense, the phone rings… a friends wife is celebrating her birthday soon and he wants me to make the cake for her.

JOEHOE… so here goes…

I just loved making this cake.

O o i forgot to put teeth on this little guy on the top left. O well just before my friend came to pick up the cake i put some on ;-).

Voor Kevin…

Ik weet ik weet ik zou geen taarten meer maken voor andere maar ik kon geen nee zeggen, al hoewel ik na dit project mij wel heb afgevraagd waarom ik GEEN nee kon zeggen…… wat een werk.

 

Een snooker tafel taart van 38 bij 28 cm breed. Ja het is een joekel en ZWAAAAAR.

I know i know, i would not be decorating cake`s any more, well that is what i told myself. I get all stressed out. But this was a challange so i wanted to try it.

 

And i now know why i stopped making cake`s for other people, it took me 10 hours to make and decorate this baby.

But i am one proud lady……;-).

I forgot to take pictures, so at the last moment i took some pictures whilest the cake was in the box already. Not as pretty…… better next time.

Dit is mijn laatste taart voor 2010 uiteraard een kerst thema.

My last cake for the year 2010, and naturaly it is in a christmas theme.

En ik moet zeggen hij bevalt mij goed ;-). Jammer genoeg niet voor ons zelf hihihi.                                         

I like the cake a lot, unfortunatly not our cake ;-).
